Preloading tracks

Preloading tracks makes it easier to do music shows.

To be more specific, if you need to toss up a bunch of track information during an hour or two-hour show, it can be hard to type in the track information while mixing the music.

Instead, you can preload the track, so that displaying them during your during is reduced to two clicks.

Adding tracks to the preload queue

  1. Access the playlist editor for a broadcast.
  2. Click the Tools button.
  3. Select Preload tracks.
  4. Enter the tracks as normal (enter it's info and click Add Track) — but they'll get "queued up" in the preload area instead.
  5. When you want to use the track again, disable the preload tool (from the Tools menu) and click the track to populate the track-adding form with the track's information. Check the time to make sure it's correct, and then click Add Track.
